Hello. I am a Winnipeg, Manitoba based newborn, child and family photographer. I offer in home studio style sessions for your comfort and convenience. I bring all the necessary props, backdrops, lighting and items to your session to make them fun and unique.

I also find this style session is much easier for the comfort of the newborn and parent(s). Feedings, changes and snuggles can be done in their own environment.

For out of town clients or those who wish, I do offer newborn and children shoots at my in home studio. For family sessions and older kids, I recommend the great outdoors for space and freedom. This also allows for candids and multiple backdrop options.


My business was started in 2010 and as of 2012, it is my full time occupation. I am customer service driven and strive for good turnaround times.

The client has the option to purchase prints or digital negatives from the session. I also offer custom album, canvas, and birth announcement options. All sessions are also uploaded to a private, password protected gallery for viewing. It can also be shared with family and friends.


I recommend new-born sessions be completed at the 4-10 day age mark. Sessions done after that mark can take longer and the "squishy" poses are not recommended. I will gladly do some family shots of mom/dad/siblings at the end of the session. The majority of the time will be spent with baby though. An average new-born session is 2 hours, but baby is boss and determines the pace of the session.

Newborn safety is also very important and should be considered when looking for a photographer. Baby should never be left in a position where they could startle or move and put themselves in harm. Often, I use mom or dad to hold baby and a composite edit is done in processing. Yes, this takes extra time and effort, but baby is #1 priority.


Travel can be arranged for out of city sessions. Please contact me (if possible) before baby arrives so that time can be left in my schedule for new arrivals.
